Continuing Education Activity The Silent Epidemic - September 12, 2009 Stewart-Marchman-Act (SMA) Behavioral Healthcare Keep Kids Drug Free Prevention Center and Florida Recovery Month have put together a continuing education activity focusing on prescription drug abuse. Prescription drug abuse is a significant problem in the United States, and has been coined the “Silent Epidemic”. Explanations and tools on how health care professionals can assist in tackling and bringing this epidemic to an end will be presented. |
